Top 10 Gluten Free Snacks

1. Quest Cookies

These Quest cookies are delicious and healthy. They come in Chocolate Chip, Double Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter and Snicker-doodle. All of these flavors are DELICIOUS but my favorite is Chocolate Chip.

Note that they also carry a Oatmeal Raisin kind which is NOT Gluten Free.

Although these can be a little pricey I found buying in bulk online is cheapest or you can usually find them in your local grocery store.

2. Kind Bars

I’m sure many of you have tried Kind bars and if you haven’t, Its a Must! They carry all sorts of GF products but my favorite remains to be there Chocolate Chip Granola bars that are Chewy. I also have found that these granola bars tend to be more affordable than other brands.

3. Munk Pack Cookies

These Munk Pack cookies I found next to the Quest cookies. I believe these are a better deal than the Quest ones when it comes to size and they have flavors such as White Chip Macadamia Nut, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Spice and Double Dark Chocolate.

4. Sea Weed

I have tried a few different brands of Sea Weed and they are all tasty and salty. If you like salty foods you will love these and you can normally find GF Teriyaki which is my personal favorite.

5. Pamelas Granola Bars

Just recently saw these Pameleas Whenever Bars and i gotta say although they arent very big (GF foods rarely are) the taste fantastic and very authentic.

6. Glutino Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Although I don’t buy these often, as i tend to eat the whole bag in one sitting, these are such an amazing treat. Glutino Chocolate pretzels come in both chocolate and yogurt. I have had both kinds and they were fantastic. Keep an eye open the next time your out grocery shopping.

7. Coconut Rolls

If you love coconut, your going to love these guys! I shop at Sprout’s here in Southern California so ill buy their brand but I’m sure you cant go wrong with any brands. Crispy, flavorful, and Gluten Free.

8. Dried Fruits (Philippines Dried Mangoes)

Dried Fruits are such a weird concept to me but they are a great snack for on the go. My top favorite has to be Philippines Brand Dried Mangoes, they have a great taste and consistency that other brands just don’t have.

9. Kettle Brand Chips

Whether you are snacking or complimenting a nice GF Sandwich these Kettle Brand chips are the BOMB! With many different flavors to choose from I have multiple favorites like Pink Himalayan Salt, Avocado Oil, and Cracked Pepper. Other flavors the have include Buffalo Wing, Salt and Vinegar, Jalapeno, BBQ and more. Really recommend giving these guys a try!

10. Snyder’s Gluten Free Pretzels

Although there are a few different brands of pretzels out there, when I saw Snyder came out with GF pretzels I was Stoked! Growing up eating regular pretzels (before i was diagnosed) when I was young Snyder was my go to brand. Finally a big name company caring about us Gluten Free Individuals.

The Best Gluten Free Pizza You Probably Haven’t Tried

Intro

Oh how I missed real authentic “Gluten Loaded” pizza with extra pepperoni. It had been so long since I had a slice of pizza that I truly enjoyed. Gluten Free options are slim when it comes to pizza crust and in my opinion most are very thin and tasteless. Until I found Paradise, Paradise Pizza that is.

The Spot

Paradise Pizza is a small family owned pizza shop tucked away in Carlsbad, California. Established in 2010 it soon became a neighborhood favorite and are now very popular and known for their Gluten Free menu as well as their operating hours of 10am – 2 am. Definitely recommend a late night pizza here.

The Pizza

It’s not the frozen Frisbee pizza dough you normally get with Gluten Free crusts, no Paradise Pizza makes their Gluten Free Dough in House from absolute scratch! With that being said it allows you to have the choice of a small, medium, or large pizza. Most places serve the pre-made frozen disc available in one size only, but if done right can still taste good. Although, I have to say there is something truly amazing about this Gluten Free Crust.

I really wish all of you could try this pizza, unfortunately for now its exclusive to this area. If you ever travel to Southern California make time to stop for a truly amazing Gluten Free Pizza.

The Best Gluten Free Hamburger Bun is a Bagel?!

Bakers Canyon Gluten Free Everything Bagel

There’s nothing like a great American Cheese Burger to enjoy after a hard days work, but when eating Gluten Free, any type of burger without a bun is just not very satisfying. Most Gluten Free hamburgers buns never cut it for me because they were either too dry or just tasted funky. After practically giving up on the search for an amazing hamburger bun I decided to think outside the “Bun”. A week later while grocery shopping at Sprout’s I stumbled upon Bakers Canyon Everything Bagels and thought that this could possibly be the answer to my Gluten Free Hamburger Bun Crisis.

Conclusion

The results were astonishing, for the first time in over 10 years I was able to enjoy a delicious cheeseburger. Using a bagel for a bun was the best decision I ever made.

For Best results I recommend Heating bun for 30-45 seconds
